Shampoo Bar

It does! The Shampoo Bar provides a rich, foamy lather that effectively cleanses your hair. We don’t use any fragrances or harsh detergents found in typical liquid shampoos that could disrupt your skin microbiome or exacerbate itch or irritation.

Yes, you can. Our Shampoo Bar is color-safe and won’t damage dyed hair. 

That’s up to you! If you decide to use conditioner, we recommend looking for a fragrance-free, hypoallergenic conditioner with minimal ingredients. 

Since our Shampoo Bar is concentrated, it typically lasts longer than liquid shampoos. In general, the Shampoo Bar should provide approximately 60-80 washes when properly stored (see below). If you have longer, thicker hair, you may require more shampoo per wash. 

We recommend storing your Shampoo Bar in a cool, dry place away from the flow of water, such as in a soap dish with drainage holes or in a wire shower caddy. Allowing your Shampoo Bar to dry out between uses will help it last longer. 

Our Shampoo Bar is minimally formulated, microbiome-friendly, fragrance-free and hypoallergenic, so it’s a great option for people who are sensitive to the fragrances or harsh detergents found in typical liquid shampoos. But the Shampoo Bar is not an eczema treatment.
