New study suggests S. aureus and skin dysbioses cause eczema

A mouse model of atopic dermatitis shows that changes in the microbiome correspond with the condition's progression. It appears that S. aureus plays a significant role in causing eczema, so future therapies targeting this bacterium, or at least reducing its presence, should be considered.
